About Us

Organizations

Through a partnership with Universidade Católica Portuguesa, Kent State University sent a group of fourteen students to help supplement Batoto Yetu Portugal’s mission with the use of AR technology, as well as understand and experience the context of the story to be told. Alongside Batoto Yetu, the team identified sites of importance to the African community. With this information, they then worked to research the stories, capture photo and video content, and create a cohesive narrative for tourists and residents alike to learn from.
